Welcome again dear readers. Normally, this would be the Thanksgiving edition of the Pipeline where I list all of the things in porn I am thankful for. However, since I spent most of my free time this past month working with, interviewing or chauffeuring around one Layla Jade, this Pipeline will largely be a synopsis of our time together.
Come to think of it, isn't spending time with such a beautiful and charming creature reason enough to be thankful?
Before I get to the good stuff, there is some sad news to report.
It's been over a year since we've had to do a story on a new HIV case in the business, but the bad news hit in mid October. Veteran porn performer Tony Montana has tested positive for the HIV virus. Though numerous rumors concerning how Tony may have contracted the virus are circulating, none are particularly credible, so there is no information to pass along at this time.
After a short quarantine period, all of the performers who have worked with Montana have been re-tested and cleared. Let's hope that catching this one early will prevent another outbreak like we had in 98. Best wishes to Tony and his family.
The hottest newbie of 1999 has been back in SoCal for the past month.
Blonde, British babe Layla Jade has made a triumphant return to the US and has been busy working for just about everyone in town. (Including yours truly, but more on that later.) One of her more interesting rolls is in "Ally McFeel" from Passion Pictures. Not to give away too much of the plot, but poor Layla is the victim of a faulty sex toy and has to sue for damages.
Now that radio shock jock Howard Stern has announced a separation from his wife, how long will it be before the persistent rumors about his activities pop back up? At least one high profile repeat Stern guest has claimed for years that Howie frequently enjoyed Presidential definition of non-sex with numerous porn stars, strippers and other guests. Whether or not she comes forward is anyone's guess.
Love him or hate him, you have to feel for Howard just a little bit as the sharks begin to circle. Then again, life is all about Karma isn't it?
Speaking of things that are not my speed, but certainly appeal to a number of you out there, I got to shoot my first fetish video this month.
A local company, Bold New Visions shot the first volume of their "Corporal Punishment" series. Layla Jade starred as a wayward young girl who gets spanked with hands, paddles and a riding crop. After that, the action moves into the bathroom for some action that soon has her squeaky clean. Hey, different strokes right?
Speaking of new lines involving bodily fluids, did any of you catch Johnny Toxxic's act on Howard Stern? It seems that JT has finally figured out that his brand of smut is just not hitting its mark often enough. So, what does a would be rock and roll porn maker do when he's run out of ideas? How about having chicks puking on each other? I guess compared to this new crap, even the worst of his old stuff will look brilliant.
Kim Chambers and husband Scott Styles made an appearance on The Jerry Springer Show this week. They appeared on the show with a young man who is involved with the couple in a unique relationship. You see, his girlfriend is a domineering bitch who controls everything in their relationship. Like so many, he turned to the computer for some excitement. The lucky guy stumbled upon Kim's web site where he was able to direct the action during one of her regular live sex shows.

I also got to go along with Layla for a shoot with Dave Cummings.
The full on set report will be coming along shortly, but suffice it say the shoot was interesting. Dave is every bit the gentleman on set that I would have expected and having seen the scenes already, I can say they came out great.
Porn stars are everywhere this month and it's not even sweeps month. Ron Jeremy has further ingrained himself in American pop culture by being immortalized in clay on MTV's "Celebrity Deathmatch" Ronny had to fight Tommy Lee in a Cock Fight that ended rather badly for the Hedgehog. Anyone think we should put an envelope of his back hair into a time capsule?
Gene Ross has reported that Seymore Butts and Alisha Klass may be leaving Buttsville for Splitsville. No confirmation either way, so all we can do is wish both of them the very best and hope that both will get back to making great movies as soon as possible.
It's that time again smut fans. The second annual Rog Reviews readers poll is underway.
Voting in five categories (Best Female, Best Male, Best Newbie, Best Director and Best Company) is going on now with the winners being announced something in late December. Go vote for your favorites and don't forget to come back since the brackets change each week.
Attention Leanni Lei fans. Elegant Angel has listed her scene in "Cumback Pussy 21" as her first and only DP.

Zane has entered the DVD field with their first release, Cherry Poppers The College Years The Director's Cut. Look for a review of this first DVD offering next month.
Here is some good news for fans of Evil Angel and good smut in general. It seems that Apocalypse Productions and director Thomas Zupko may be getting their walking papers from Evil Angel. After the disastrous 'Anal Ball' Tommy Z's second movie must have really sucked to help EA finally see the light.
Let's see, do I have any more Layla news? Oh yeah, I got the chance to actually sit in the director's chair for a trio of scenes with the lovely little blonde.
The company who put up the money for the scenes says they plan to release them as a single movie.

I think I'll just say again how thankful I was to meet Ms. Layla Jade in person. She is truly an amazing young woman. Someone pass me the pumpkin pie so I can start on my Christmas Wish List.
