Greetings dear readers. Happy Holidays and welcome to the final Pipeline of the year, the decade, the century and yes, the millennium. As we stand at the threshold of a new era, rest assured that some things will remain the same. The beauty of a sunrise, the joy of a child on Christmas morning and of course, the wonderful world of porn.

Fans will keep watching, companies will keep spewing out titles faster than network TV churns out lawyer shows and most importantly my friends, I will keep giving you the straight scoop on the good, the bad and the ugly of the blue screen.

Since December 2nd will be Britney Spears' eighteenth birthday, I am going to pepper this month's Pipeline with little tit-bits celebrating this momentous occasion. I officially dub this the Happy Birthday Britney issue of the Pipeline.

This has really been a bad month or so for fans of superstar blondes. No less than three flaxen haired hotties have hung up their garters and left the world of smut for other pastures.

First, Wicked's high profile, on again off again star Jenna Jameson cut short her recent comeback. At least that's one of the hot rumors. Another has Jenna not leaving porn, just flying the coop on Wicked to become the most sought after free agent since Kevin Brown. Call me crazy, but I have a feeling that we'll see her again.

The second blonde to blow out of X-Ville is Vivid veggie star Janine. After a decade at the top of her profession, Janine has had enough. Undoubtedly, one of the most breathtakingly gorgeous women to ever do porn, Janine made a career for herself just performing with other women. Love that or hate it, you have to admire a woman who can stand up for what she wants and still succeed.

The final bailing blonde would seem to be Katie Gold. Sources say the pint sized prick pleaser has returned home to Texas, up and leaving porn in a bit of a huff. No word on just why Ms. Gold may have left porn angrily, but I'm working on that. As a side note, her departure knocks the Texas four of 1997 (Katie, Alyssa Love, Holli Woods and Shay Sweet) down to one. Alyssa and Holli have already left, leaving only Shay left on the blue screen.

Britney's birthday is a date that has been circled on the calendars of celebrity photo fakers for nearly two years. Ethical fakers have stayed clear of controversy by not faking under aged celebs, but now that she is no longer felonious, expect newsgroups like alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.celebrity.fake to be flooded with images of the pop star doing all the things she's only done in the minds of millions to this point.

On a much happier note, the happy home of Julie Rage and Greg Steel will be a little happier and a lot noisier after the birth of their first child, a lovely baby girl. Congratulations and best wishes to the both of them. No word yet, but there seems to be no truth to the rumor that the baby was named Jenna Armstrong Steel. (Personally, I don't see what's wrong with Rogina, but that's just me.)

There has be no confirmation of the rumor that Max Hardcore has now declared Britney officially too old to actually be a good cock socket.

Those of you familiar with IRC chat may have caught the first ever PST Awards.

Using a voting system that combined a fan poll with channel op votes, awards were handed out in eight categories ranging from best female porn star to porn journalist of the year.

In the best starlet category, Zoe (25 Points) beat out Inari Vachs (20), Linda Thoren (15), Stryc-9 (7), Alana Evans (7) and Julie Meadows (2).

Marc Davis beat out a larger field for best male. Delaney Daniels more than doubled the second place finisher for best newcomer. Jim DiGorgio nearly tripled Tom Byron for best director and his movie "Plaid" squeaked by Torn to win best movie. (In third place was VCA's In Search of Awesome Pussy) Kid Vegas beat out Jenna, Rob Black and Thomas Zupko for most overrated. Yours Truly edged out Dirty Bob for Journalist of the year.

and the hall of class consisted of Roxanne Hall, Ginger Lynn, Nikki Dial, Kaitlyn Ashley, Jacklyn Lick, Bianca Trump, Traci Lords, Ron Jeremy, John Leslie and Madison.

Since we all know the careers of cheesy pop singers are short, the lines are already forming to offer Britney a career in porn.

Some possible titles for her big coming out video might include some of the following gems. "Britney Speared", "Britney's Spheres", "Bone Me Baby One More Time" and of course "Britney's Birthday Gang Bang."

For those of you still trying to figure out why all the BS news in this column, consider this. Ms. Spears really is the perfect blend of pop and porn. She is young, beautiful and has implants making her the perfect new recruit into smut. Her style of dress also seems to have helped inspire a number of porn lines. If she decides not to take an offer to be in front of the camera, perhaps the YA crowd could hire her as a wardrobe consultant.

Diabolic has entered the DVD field with their first four releases this past month. This first batch of DVDs from the successful company includes Lewd Conduct (Nikki Anderson WOW), Debauchery (With some of the hottest Euro-babes ever) Gang Bang Auditions (Starring the ever popular Inari Vachs) and Panochitas (The very best Latin themed video line on the market.)

With a very well done package of extras, Diabolic is clearly serious bout the DVD market. Now all we need is to get Anabolic and Extreme on board and hard-core fans will have the full line to choose from.

It's rather fitting that Britney would turn eighteen at the end of the decade. The nineties have been filled with underage mainstream stars.

Christina Ricci and Natalie Portman both played roles well beyond their years and sports fans will never be able to forget Anna Kournakouva's racy poster at the ripe age of fourteen. Brooke Shields would be proud.

Ex-Vivid and Metro contract blonde Nikki Tyler made an appearance this past month on Comedy Central's The Man Show.

You know, when all else fails, nothing brings men to their TV sets like scantily clad porn stars bending over to clean the lint trap.

While we're getting our hopes up that Britney's pop career will fizzle and she'll decide that porn is a better way to go, we might as well run a few other pop singer names up the old flagpole and see who salutes.

Now that the Spice Girls have faded from our radar screens, wouldn't they make a great quartet of quim? How about Mariah Carey? She's dressing like a porn vixen already, so why not go all the way? Shania Twain is doing quite well for herself, but who wouldn't throw down a few bones to watch her chew on one?

Another porn star who has made a couple of appearances on the Man Show, Serenity, has another mainstream cameo on her plate. The blonde superstar will co-star on an episode of the Fox show "Action" in early December. Known for the racy story lines and edgy humor, we can only imagine how the gorgeous Wicked Girl will light things up. (And little birds say you better watch it while you can, it looks like the hilarious show may be headed for an early grave.)

Has anyone else noticed that all of the one time Cream contract girls have all found greener pastures elsewhere? Jasmin St. Claire has found great success at the top of the Extreme Associates lineup. Kendra Jade has recently become an contact girl with LGI. Zoe just signed with Sin City, leaving Cream without a big name on the books.
