Dear DocXXX,
My partner and I have watched several videos in which women 'squirt' or ejaculate. I have never been able to do this, but would love to experience such a sensation. I've tried everything I can think of, but have not been able to ejaculate at all. Can every woman ejaculate? Can it be learned? If so, how do I teach myself to do it? My lover says he'll help me in any way he can -- he knows I'd really love to do this, plus he finds it a turn-on too!
-- Wetter Is Better
Dear Wetter,
Female ejaculation is one of those areas that we still don't know much about. There's even still debate about where the fluid is coming from, although recent research seems to show that it is probably the Skene's glands.
Whether women can learn to ejaculate is another matter for debate. Although there are a number of books and videos that claim to be able to teach you how, it does appear that some women simply can not ejaculate, no matter what they try. Most women who can do it say that they are most likely to ejaculate with sustained G-spot stimulation.
While I understand your desire to experience such sensations with your lover, my best advice to you is to simply do what feels best to the both of you. Don't pressure yourself or your lover for ejaculation -- if it happens, great, but if not you can still have a fabulous time. Above all, enjoy yourselves and don't put too much stock in ejaculation.
