Dear DocXXX,
Isn't it risky for the passive partner to engage in intercourse where the active partner is wearing studs, loops, etc. in his "Prince Albert"?
-- Receptive Rascal
Dear Receptive,
Risky is a good word for it! Engaging in intercourse with someone wearing such jewelry through their penis is indeed a risk for both partners, but especially the one on the 'receiving' end. By engaging in such behavior, you run a chance of tearing up your anal tissue, both inside and out. Your rectum was never meant to have metal rings and studs pumped in and out of it, and there is a significant chance that you can do some serious harm to your insides. To say nothing of the potential for ripping up your anus itself!
Your partner isn't doing himself any favors, either. He's risking everything from infection to penile tearing by engaging in sexual activity while wearing these kind of piercings. I strongly suggest that he remove them before you dabble in any more of this sort of thing! I'm sure neither one of you wants to end up in an emergency room trying to explain how his Prince Albert tore off in your can!
